Hellooo, I'm Elara Dorne. I'm a child of God, a writer and aspiring digital artist. My author name comes from the MMO-RPG game called Star Wars: The Old Republic and Elara is a Republic soldier defected from the Empire to join in freeing the galaxy. Plus she has a great British ascent.
I'm fairly short and blond, that's cool. Being short and blond are two very cool things, yes?
I write. That's basically what I do. My brain is bursting with story, plot, characters and art that I need to create. So I attempt to create them and usually they work out. Nothing has actually been successful but try, try again right? As you can probably tell I LOVE Star Wars, all of the movies by the way. Including the prequels. They deserve to be loved as well. I am also in love with Doctor Who. I am a Whovian and will not stand for people who don't like Rose Tyler! (okay, just kidding as long as you don't whine about how she whines all the time, cause she doesn't). The Avengers, of course! It is one of my many fandoms and have finally watched all of the recent Avenger films (yay!).

Fan Art I did for Cupcakes to Lightsabers.
Been trying to write Gallifreyan (hope I spelled that right) because I felt like writing down words more creatively than just using the English alphabet. If you can guess what it is, good for you! But this probably isn't accurate so I'll just tell you:
It says,
     "Rose Tyler, I love you."

I also love LOTR and the Hobbit. Don't hate me but I like the movies more than the books, I'm a visual person and can't help it. That's one thing that I don't get about myself. Writer's are suppose to read A LOT but I get all my plot, character and story inspiration from movies and TV shows. Huh, I'm just weird like that. Favorite character from LOTR/Hobbit? Pippin. Sorry, yeah. Its true.
I absolutely love the Lord of the Rings music/sound track. It is so beautifully haunting all at once and I've listened to it more than once when I've been stuck for a story idea. It's the reason why the movies are so good! (the other half are the actors, of course)

Jane Austen, I love! She is so clever with her words, plots and characters that I cannot help but admire her as a story teller. She is brilliant and fantastic. My favorite Jane Austen Movie/Book is Emma (BBC version) because of the main character's character arc and how she changes into a better person because of her love interest.
Quick note, every time I take one of those "what character are you" for Jane Austen novels I usually get Elinor or Emma. Gives you a little hint of what my personality is like, I guess.

Disney certainly has it's moments. And sometimes it misses completely. But I always try, at least with their cartoons and animated flicks, to give the movie a chance before I judge too harshly. Just recently they have had some pretty good movies that were very humorous, as well! My favorites right now are Frozen, Tangled, Mulan, Monsters Ink/Monsters U. and Emperor's New Groove.

Of course, I have a lot more fandoms, but there are simply top many to name at this one time. Plus whenever I am asked to give a list, I suddenly forget everything.

(There are many Star Wars games that I am a fan of and play including KOTOR 1&2 and SWTOR.)

But above all, I write and write and write in the hopes that one day I will finish something worth being published. Even if none of my stories ever see the light of day, I cannot help but write. I create my thoughts and words through my work and learn what kind of things I can do and not do, testing my own strengths and weakness.
Anyway, thank you for reading if you made it this far and if you thought it was interesting, then great!
