And now for a little bit of Iron Man galore.
Tony Stark just being his fabulous self.
So, what'd you guys think of Iron Man 3? In my opinion, it was really underrated.
I thought it was awesome. The concept of the storyline was brilliant. At first, I thought the Mandarin twist was disappointing, but it kind've grew on me.
And Tony was his fabulous self, as ever.
So, what's your favorite Iron Man movie? Favorite part? Quote? Start talking! :)
That "Haters gonna hate" gif is making me lol XD
ReplyDeleteIn response to your question: I have to say that I liked the first Iron Man the best. I don't know...the story was the most interesting out of the other three in that one to me, Robert Downey, Jr. was fabulous (as always ;) haha), I liked the villain...I guess overall I just liked the movie :D
The second one was kinda disappointing to me. Mostly because I guess I didn't like the villain as much. I guess I just didn't really get into Vanko/Whiplash like I did with Obidiah/Iron Monger.
The third one, in my opinion, was better than the second one but not as good as the first. The Mandarin twist could have been better, I must admit, but Killeen was a really good villain, Trevor was hilarious, and I guess I just liked it better than two.
So, if I was putting the films in order according to my favorite, it would be: Iron Man 1, Iron Man 3, then Iron Man 2. Not that I disliked any of the films—on the contrary, I think Iron Man had the best solo films of the MCU :)
Wow, this comment is getting lengthy! Hehe, I'm done with my babbling now :P
I agree! Obediah was a great villain. I was a little surprised when he turned out to be one. My general rule is; don't pick favorites when it comes to sequels. Cuz it's all apart of a person's life. :P But of course, Iron Man 1 was epic. I liked Iron Man 2 alot. But Iron Man 3 really spoke to me. XD haha
ReplyDeleteIt really comes to the level of "Big Bad" final battles.. and in my opinion, Tony's battle with Killian was the best of the three. His battle with Obediah was good, but the battle with Whiplash was..eh. Too short.
I approve of large scale final battles with maximum carnage and appropriate lengths. If you saw Man of Steel, you'd know what I'm talking about! :P
But yeah, I love all three. Though if I was to pick a favorite, it'd be Iron Man 3. Simply because the storyline was the most engaging for me. And it made me laugh..alot. ;)
His battle with Whiplash was too short. They only got in a few hits before he was defeated. I'm personally not a fan of really long battle scenes, but I expected that the climax would have been longer, you know?
ReplyDeleteYeah, the third one was pretty funny. Can't count how many times I cracked up in the theatre XD
Agreed, really long battles tend to be too much. Like I said, the battle in Man of Steel, the length, the level of destruction and the style of it all, was perfect. It was really satisfying. :D But yes, it just seemed like, after all the hype of how they portrayed Whiplash, the ending battle would've AT LEAST been a little longer and more imposing. Much more of a challenge than how he was represented at the end.
DeleteI knowwww, Robert Downey Jr. is amazing. X3
