Sassy Overload - The 9th Doctor

Art by (unknown)

I have only seen three episodes of 9, but I already love him. He's so sassy, and for some reason I just love his smile. Like, just look at him:

I also love his interaction with Rose, and just how he delivers his lines. My favorite so far from him is:
He just looks so offended. I just can't NOT love this guy. XD

Oh and also this:

He's such a great Doctor, and I'm so glad that I'm watching him. I admittedly skipped him before, but at least now I'm watching him. :)
That's all I've got to say about him... for now. XD

The Fluffy Hair - Where I Talk About Tenny

Art by MPMG

What I love most about the Tenth Doctor is that he shows the sweet side of the Doctor. The side that is brave AND kind. The hero that is the Doctor. He's concerned about his friends, and cares about them so much that it hurts him, even to the point that he would die for them. Even as he was dying, he wanted to "say" one last goodbye to each of them.
But Tenny isn't all serious. He also has a silly side him him.
I love it when he says stuff like:

And that time when he said:

And when he tries to sound all scientific-y:

And I just love how he says this ^.^   :

Plus just.... just these:

Those are some of my favorite quotes from him. ^.^ He's got a great sense of humor.
...
But there's one thing I haven't mentioned...

The hair.  <3

Yes, I just had to do it. ;)

He'll always be my first and favorite Doctor.,  and those are my favorite things about Tenny. ^.^

My Favorite Bad Guy and Good Guy from Heroes: Reborn - Luke Collins & Quentin

I've only seen one episode of this, and I'm already in love with it. I have to say though that I'd suggest watching Heroes before Heroes: Reborn, because... things happen, man. THINGS HAPPEN.
*ahem* Anyways. It takes place a few years after the last episode of Heroes, and I don't want to give much away. But yeahhhh...
My actual favorite character in this is the villain: Luke Collins.

Yes, this is Zachary Levi. <3 No, that's not the reason I love Luke. The reason I love him so stinkin' much is because he's just so mysterious. It's kind of like this, "I HAVE NO IDEA WHO YOU ARE, BUT I LOVE YOU." Seriously guys, if you watched it you would understand what I mean. My mind is reeling trying to figure out who he is. There are just these tiny hints in there, and I'm just like, "WHAT DOES IT MEANNNN??!!"
He doesn't have powers, as far as I know anyways. O.O
I have to say that this is probably of Zac's best performances. It's keeping me interested by showing who he seems to be, but also curious by showing who he might be. I just wanna know who he is dang it! >.<
Fortunately there's an episode tonight, so I'm okay.

But my favorite good guy is Quentin.

Having watch the webisode series, I've grown to love this guy more and more. He's human, and is just trying to save his sister, man! He's got great development, and I can't wait to see what happens with his story line. ^.^
Yeah, I don't have much else to say about him. But he's just awesome. :)

TO BE CONTINUED...

(Hahaha... just kidding.)

My Favorite Good Guy and Bad Guy from Heroes - Hiro Nakamura & Sylar

If you've never seen Heroes, it's about these people who discover that they have powers. Most of which don't even know each other. They're hunted by these people part of a company called Primatech, which is only thought of by outsiders as just a paper company, who are trying to cover up the fact that people with powers (who are later referred to as Evos) exist.

My favorite among these heroes (and also my actual favorite among all the characters) is:
Hiro Nakamura.
Art by Margalot

He's a SuperHiro!! ;) His power is space-time manipulation (basically he can freeze and travel through time, and teleport). He used to work for his father, but was bored out of his mind. He accidentally travels through time to find out that New York City is going to explode. Which he tries to figure out how to save the city. Thus, his main phrase is, "Save the cheerleader, save the world."
He's basically the start of the hero movement, and though he might not seem like much of a leader, being quirky, nerdy, and geeky all into one character, he's really a true leader in all of what happens in Heroes. He's my favorite character for multiple reasons.
1) He's sweet as all get out. I mean, look at how adorable he is! But still has this hardcore part of him that fights with a sword all epicly and stuffs.
2) He wants to save the world. He's a true hero in my books.
3) He says some pretty hilarious things.
4) I like his story better than all the rest. Mostly because he's actually WANTING to be a hero, unlike some of the other people in the show.
He's just an all around awesome guy, and I love his interaction with his best friend, Ando. <3 Those two make quite a team. ^.^

Then my favorite villain is Sylar. You might recognize him.

Yep, the notorious Spock goes rogue. He's a pretty epic bad guy if you ask me. He has the power to steal other evos powers, and by steal... I mean he has to slice their head open to get their powers... in other words... he has to kill them. Sounds kinda creepy, I know. XD But he's still pretty awesome. He doesn't work for anybody, and it tends to stay that way. He works for only himself, and all he wants is more powers, because he gets these intense cravings just to kill people for their powers. I'm dead serious guys.
Zachary Quinto does an awesome job of portraying this character in the creepiest way possible, I have to say if I had seen Heroes before the new Star Trek, I wouldn't have been able to get passed the fact that it was Sylar. That's how good he was at being bad.
Thus, the reason he's my favorite bad guy. :) Because he's just awesome at being bad. ^.^

Jonny Lee Miller vs. Benedict Cumberbatch: Their Version of Sherlock

Personally, I love all versions of Sherlock, it doesn't matter to me who it is as long as it's Sherlock Holmes. It's argued that Benedict's Sherlock is better than Jonny's Sherlock, but most probably say that because they haven't even seen Elementary. So I'm here to show you that both Sherlocks have their similarities, but they also have their differences. I think of it as a good thing. They took the time to develop their character enough where it's still Sherlock Holmes, only their interpretation of him.

Jonny's Sherlock
His version is basically the Sherlock that hides his feelings. That's typical of Sherlock, isn't it? He cares for Watson, and never would want anything bad to happen to her. He might not say it out loud, but I, as the audience, know how he feels without him saying a single word. This is how he expresses himself: body language. It makes sense to me that he, being the deductionist he is, would express himself in this way. He always talks about how he can read body language, and that more is spoken without anything said. Jonny's Sherlock proves that point.
He fights for the people he cares about, and is very protective of them (ex. Irene and Watson). Yet, he would never tell them how he feels. Not really. It's all just words to him. He might SAY one thing, but he'll DO something else. I can't tell you enough how many times I've been like, "What are you saying Sherlock? That's so unlike you!" Just to see that he's doing something else that is completely within his character. Basically, words mean nothing to this version of Sherlock, and body language is absolutely imperative.
I love this version of Sherlock. It shows a whole new perspective of him that I would have never imagined. He's a secretly sweet guy, but he would never admit it. No words are the best words in my book for this form of Sherlock.
So if you're expecting him to say something, don't expect it. Wish for the moments he doesn't say a word, and you'll see what I mean.

Benedict's Sherlock
He's basically the Sherlock that, as my sibling would put it, "Wears his heart on his sleeve." And I absolutely agree. He's more expressive with words, which is probably why he's so popular. Benedict brings out the side of Sherlock that's caring, and you can tell by HOW he says things. Where when he says it, you know exactly what he's trying to say without him actually SAYING it. You've even seen it. "I don't have friends, I've just got one." It's more implied that it's John, at this point in the show. It's all about implication with this Sherlock, and usually if it seems like he's implying something when it comes to someone he cares about, he is. He's more direct when it comes to people he couldn't care less about, such as Anderson.
Yes, body language is still intricately involved with this Sherlock, but it's less prominent with this Sherlock, but it still plays it's role in this Sherlock. It's just not AS significant. :)
I love this Sherlock, too. Don't worry. He's just as awesome as Jonny's. But the reasons I like him are different than for Jonny's. This Sherlock reveals that he IS caring, which makes me love every Sherlock all the more.

Hopefully this sheds some light on who each Sherlock is as a character. Thanks for reading. ^.^

My All Time Favorite Show: Chuck

If you haven't seen Chuck, it's about a guy named Chuck. He works at a dead end job at the Buy More, and his life is just boring. He accidentally downloads this thing called the Intersect (hey, now you know where I got my admin name from ;) ), which holds all the information on all of the CIA and the NSA. (Not that he could actually "remember" everything. If he sees something that is in one of the files of each of the agencies he "flashes" and gets all the information at that point.) He finds himself being tracked down by both of these agencies. At first they are trying to kill him, but then they decide to let him work for them instead. And thus, how the series begins.
The show has amazing characters (such as Chuck), and an awesome plot line. Everything is so well put together, I'm surprised it's not more popular.
Now that you know that, I should probably tell you a little bit about the characters. ^_^

Chuck Bartowski
He is my all time favorite character (like of all of the shows, I've loved Chuck the most). And even saying that is an understatement. I love this man to bits, and he's just the bestest ever. He's loyal, lovable, quirky, geeky, and just an all around sweet guy. He's probably the closest thing that I have to a fictional crush, and even then I only ship him with Sarah. ;)
The cast directors knew what they were doing when they had Zachary Levi play Chuck. I mean look at this face!
*ahem* Yeah, he's the best. ^.^

Morgan Grimes
He's probably my second favorite character. He's an awesome best friend to Chuck, and I couldn't imagine the show without him in it. If there was no Morgan, who would be there to say stuff like:
He makes the show better just by being there. Who would Chuck be without Morgan? ;) He's hilarious, and I don't know how to describe him other than he's Morgan. XD

Sarah Walker
She works for the CIA, and has some pretty sick spy moves. She's not as funny as Chuck or Morgan, but she has her moments. She's tough on the outside, but she always has this soft spot for Chuck. She has a hard time admitting her feelings, but it's understandable because of the assumed tough past she's had. She's beautiful, and everything you would expect from a female spy.

John Casey
Yes, the same actor who played Jayne also plays Casey. He's a rugged, military man. He loves guns, NSA/spy work, and President Ronald Reagan. (Basically, he's Jayne in another universe.) Need I say more? ;)

Ellie Bartowski
She's Chuck's big sister, and has been taking care of him since their father left many years ago. She's very protective of Chuck, but still wants him to get out there and do the things he loves doing. She's brilliant, and is a doctor of neurology. She's the one that gives Chuck advice, and is always there for him when needed.

Captain Awesome
He's Ellie's surprisingly smart boyfriend. He might not seem like the type that would be smart, but he's actually a doctor of cardiology. He works with Ellie at the same hospital. He's one of those guys that always, and I mean always, says awesome. Thus, he is nicknamed (by Chuck) Captain Awesome. His real name is actually Devon Woodcomb. I'm sure if Awesome were to read this, he'd say:

Jeff and Lester
They're the two weird/creepy guys that work at Buy More with Chuck, Morgan, and Casey. They're not technically "main characters," but I consider them part of the show just as much as anyone else. They play in their own band called Jeffster. But... as they don't really have much talent they're stuck working at the Buy More. (P.S. The one with the crazy hair playing the piano is Jeff, and the one singing is Lester.)

Big Mike
He's the owner of the Buy More, and he loves Subway sandwiches. He's kind of like Mr. Krabs in someways, if that gives you an idea. XD

Anyways. If you haven't seen Chuck yet, I highly recommend it. I hope this causes you to want to watch the show. I promise that you won't be disappointed. ^.^

Why do I like Gotham?

That is a question that I wonder on Mondays, the day of Gotham episodes. I think I have come up with an answer to that question: The villains are intriguing.
I've always loved Batman, but I'd never really liked the villains. I had always thought that the villains were kind of unrealistic, especially Penguin. I pretty much didn't like any Batman villains except The Joker and Harley Quinn.
Now, as I watch Gotham, I absolutely love the villains. Penguin, whom I love the most, has convinced me that I can love any Batman villain.
In Gotham, it makes it normal for you to like the villain. I get to see the villains up close. I can see their drive, and why they do what they do with more clarity. It's the beginning of everything in Gotham, which will eventually lead to the need for Batman. But for now Gordon is the only real hero.
It is great to see how it all got started. The characters are amazing, and I'm always on my toes on what will happen next. It's of the best script writing on the planet. They have these really intense moments, with funny twists to them. What is there not to love?
Gotham is great for those who want villains... villains... aaaaand more villains.

Which is why I love Gotham so much. ^.^
